JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in a busy shipping company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to safely move, load, and unload cargo, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities: Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse or shipping area. Ensure cargo is securely loaded and properly stored. Inspect and maintain forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition. Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. Assist with inventory management and shipment tracking. Ensure timely and accurate processing of materials for shipping. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift operator certification. 1-2 years of experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a shipping or warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
