Job Description: Rigger • Conduct thorough pre-use inspections of rigging gear and lifting equipment (e.g., slings, shackles, spreader bars, blocks, lifting beams) to ensure safety and compliance. • Select appropriate rigging tools and equipment in line with load requirements and operational conditions. • Perform accurate calculations of load weights, centers of gravity, and sling angles to achieve balanced, stable, and controlled lifts. • Direct crane operators through standard hand signals and clear radio communication to ensure safe and efficient execution. • Ensure all rigging activities are carried out in strict compliance with local regulations and international safety standards. • Report and escalate any unsafe practices, incidents, or equipment deficiencies.
