JOB DESCRIPTION
Clean and sanitize assigned areas (guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, back-of-house areas according to established standards Make beds, change linens, replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms Vacuum, mop, dust, polish surfaces, and ensure high cleanliness and hygiene standards Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to supervisors Follow safety and chemical handling procedures, including proper use of cleaning agents and PPE Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linen, and request restocks as needed Protect guest privacy and safeguard belongings; respect confidential information Respond promptly to guest requests and service calls, delivering exceptional guest service Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or need for repairs Monitor and document room status, mini-bar usage, and room readiness Ensure back-of-house areas are organized and clean (staff kitchens, supply closets) Adhere to schedule and productivity standards to meet turnover targets Participate in training sessions and implement new cleaning procedures or standards Follow environmental guidelines (recycling, waste disposal, energy-saving practices) Assist with special event setups or VIP requirements as needed
